CQC, as the designated operational entity authorized by the Executive Board of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) for the validation and verification of Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) projects, is qualified to conduct CDM project validation and verification in multiple fields. In addition, CQC has been officially approved by the National Development and Reform Commission as the first verification and validation agency for voluntary greenhouse gas emission reduction trading projects.
